About

Along with training a beautiful, but neurotic German Shepherd, who sadly passed away in October, 2011, I completed two international adoptions and I am surviving breast cancer, all while trying to be a wife, mother, daughter and all around good person. I’m surprised it’s so hard. These are things that make up a life, mine anyway. For better or worse. Oh, and I absolutely love nothing more than to sit down with a good novel and get lost in it for a few hours, but motherhood prohibits such luxury. Someday… In the meantime, my passion is sharing the message that mammograms are not always enough.
